Selena Gomez’s emotional ballad "A Year Without Rain" found new life in 2014 when producer Dave Audé crafted a radio-ready remix featuring The Scene. The remix retains the song’s raw sincerity while adding a fresh, uplifting energy, making it a standout cut from that era.

The collaboration with The Scene, a trio known for their smooth harmonies, adds depth to the arrangement, enhancing the song’s emotional weight. Dave Audé’s remix skillfully balances intimacy and momentum, ensuring the track remains accessible yet dynamic. Though part of Gomez’s For You project, this version feels like a distinct listen, proving how a well-crafted remix can breathe new life into a beloved song.

Fans of Selena Gomez’s softer side will appreciate this version’s ability to capture both the melancholy of heartbreak and the hope of moving forward. While the original album track remains iconic, Audé’s remix offers a fresh perspective, showcasing how music can evolve while staying true to its core.
