Crafted entirely by Puth himself, the song highlights his production skills alongside his songwriting, creating a sound that feels both polished and personal. As the fourth track on the album, "Losing My Mind" builds momentum with its catchy chorus and a rhythmic flow that keeps listeners engaged.

The track’s production is a testament to Puth’s ability to craft a modern pop sound with depth, balancing soft instrumentation with a driving beat. Its placement on Nine Track Mind ensures it fits seamlessly within the album’s cohesive narrative, making it a memorable piece of his early work.

For fans of Puth’s evolution as an artist, "Losing My Mind" serves as a glimpse into the creative direction he was exploring during this period.
