Album: Still The Mayor Album by Mayorkun

Mayorkun’s latest project, Still The Mayor, arrives in 2025 as a bold expansion of his signature sound, blending raw energy with polished production across twelve tracks. The album showcases his knack for high-octane anthems and introspective moments, with standout features from Nigeria’s biggest names. Standout cuts like "Innocent" and "Diamonds," both produced in collaboration with Fireboy DML, highlight Mayorkun’s ability to fuse street credibility with chart-ready hooks. Meanwhile, tracks like "Blessings On Blessings (B.O.B)"—a collaboration with Davido—demonstrate his knack for crafting crowd-pleasing bangers that resonate across genres.

From the opening bars of "Keep On Rockin'" to the reflective "Woman," Still The Mayor balances confidence and vulnerability, proving Mayorkun’s versatility as both a lyricist and a producer. The album also features a diverse roster of guests, including Rotimi, The Flowolf, and King Promise, each bringing their own flavor to the mix. Tracks like "Would You?" with Olivetheboy and "Jiggy" further solidify his status as a master of dynamic storytelling, where every verse feels like a testament to his enduring influence.

With a tracklist that spans from hard-hitting beats to melodic interludes, Still The Mayor is a testament to Mayorkun’s growth as an artist who never settles for mediocrity. Whether it’s the fiery intensity of "Reason 2 Japa" or the smooth groove of "Hold Body," the album delivers a cohesive vision of power, passion, and unapologetic creativity. Fans and newcomers alike will find something to connect with in this fresh chapter of his career.
